“Walk by Faith Not by Sight”  – Fundraiser Brayden Brewer – Oh My Lard Restaurant!

“Walk by Faith Not by Sight” – Wilson Times Newspaper, of Wilson North Carolina, wrote an article on baby Brayden, and his mother Harley Brewer. Baby Brayden has been diagnosed septo-optic dysplasia via ultrasound in 2016. “Septo-optic dysplasia is a disorder of early brain development. Although its signs and symptoms vary, this condition is traditionally defined by three characteristic features: underdevelopment (hypoplasia) of the optic nerves, abnormal formation of structures along the midline of the brain, and pituitary hypoplasia.” (https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/septo-optic-dysplasia) Every day is a new day for Brayden and Harley. This article touched our hearts here at Oh My Lard Restaurant and we would like to help through accepting donations to give for future medical expenses to possible include special school, doctors, special procedures, guide dog, or whatever ever may come their way. Brayden has touched our entire community! Let’s help Brayden and Brewer by giving back! Feel free to make a donation via our website, stop by Oh my Lard Restaurant, or come to the “fundraiser poker run to be held in June at FreeBirds on U.S. 301. The details are in the works, but they’ll have barbecue plates, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction in hopes of raising $5,000 toward Brayden’s medical expenses” (Wilson Times). Every $1 will help this family and counts! Thank You and Bless!
